I don't think Golovkin will jump all over Lemieux and make it short and sweet. He is going to take a measured approach. It took him 6 rounds to get Monroe out and 11 to stop Murray. 7 to stop Adama and 8 for Stevens.

Fighters without a punch like Geale and Macklin he can dispose of quickly. It won't be that quick with Lemieux because he will have to be careful and if he gets caught clean, he can be hurt like anybody. So far Golovkin seems to shake off some decent punches, but he'll be less anxious to prove he take Lemieux's power.

I think this is very interesting contest. I would lean to Golovkln. Lemieux did dominate Rubio for several rounds until he got caught. People try to portray that as one-sided for Rubio. Lemieux will have to prove he is tough and not get hit too flush.

This is the my prediction of this fight.
GGG will size up Lemieux in the first couple of rds and then will go to work and wear him down with brutal, precise shots that will completely put David in panic mode and change his game plan. Davis has heart and will endure the pain for a while but eventually it will be too much and he will quit. Maybe last 7 rds at best.

David is only 26 and fought those guys early in his career when he was too inexperienced. Like 4 years ago which is a lifetime ago for a young fighter like him. He gets better with every fight. Has not peaked yet and is way better now then he was when he fought Rubio. All that doesn't mean he will beat GGG. But people bring up those loses and leave out how early his career they happened and ignore the fact that he has been steam rolling good competition since. Hard concept but Fighters tend to improve with age and experience

This fight can be brutal or it can be over very quick. Perhaps GGG's chin gets a shock in the first round, or perhaps David just can't take the punch and he easily succumbs early. Eitherway, I expect David to let it all go as this is his opportunity of a lifetime on PPV and to put himself on top knowing GGG"s reputation in the sport. He knows he has at least a punchers chance.

GGG on the other hand might want to feel David's power out to see if it's not that bad and accept that he can take it and break David down with a few rounds, but I don't care what anyone says, David's power can be dangerous at any and all times, so GGG can't get over confident in the late rounds either.

This will NOT be playtime ballerina potshot and run boxing !

This here fight will be like an OLD TIME DOG Fight, face and release hit in the center and somebody is going down !!

Neither are chicken runners, I will be glad to pay for such an event!

Old time boxing is NOT dead

            But BEWARE

THE IMPS are out in force !,,, about Thirty of them , they want to change old time boxing from the masterful KO artist to a ballerina Pha990t style:

Great Numbers have paid great amounts of money only to come away disillusioned but once the folks begin to trust boxing again they will fall back in love with the Precision Killers that are up for big fights this fall

Old time Boxing is BACK !!!!!
