Danny Garcia has proven himself time and again. his resume is outstanding. NSB only hates him because he is with Al Haymon, beat Morales, beat Khan and beat Matthysse.

I thought he lost to Herrera and think he should give him a rematch.

He can fight Salka again for all I care, Morales and Khan were just as easy.

I hope he continues the same quality opposition at WW.

He has one of the best resumes in boxing. People that don't like him are former Lucas tards still crying about his eye

Going over his resume, you can't call him a cherry picker. He's gotten two really bad gift decisions so he's not as good as his record indicates.

I'll agree that overall Garcia is not a cherry picker, but Paulie is a pretty lame fight for the 140 champion and Salka is one of the most disgraceful cherry picks you'll ever see. So recently he's been kind of a cherry picker.

Haymon really needs to figure out the balance between the good fights and the crap fights. He swings his fighters too far from one end to the other.

Paulie is Garcia's first fight at welterweight, officially anyway so I'm not surprised. It's still difficult for someone with Garcia's footwork to deal with that but he should come through it and look better than Khan annd Porter considering how far gone Paulie is now.

After that, I'm sure Garcia will be groomed for Mayweather, although I'm still surprised he wasn't picked for September.

Recently he fought Peterson and that is no cherry pick. paulie is his first fight at 147 so i accept it. Plus i like both fighters so im cool

What i think PBC does is give the fighters one good fight and then one showcase fight. This way they get the hype from the big fight and can continue the hype by selling themselves in the showcase. At the same time we get to see the fighters 3-4 times a year as opposed to the 2 times that has become the norm. Im ok with that.

I don't think Garcia is a cherry picker. Yes he did fight Salka and yes that was a very bad cherry pick but throw that fight away and you would be hard pressed to find a cherry picked opponent. Mauricio Herrera was considered a cheery pick by many leading up to the fight but I think that people didn't realize how good and awkward the guy is.

Was absolutely nothing wrong with him fighting Peterson other than the fact that they did not put all of those 140 Belts up for grabs during that fight, instead they fought out of their weight class. That is the only problem I had with that match up going into it. Now during the match I thought he lost yet again and he still got the win on the cards.

If he beats Paulie his next fight needs to be a Big One at Welterweight! Garcia vs Porter would be good, Garcia vs Maidana (if Maidana is coming back and can make 147), Garcia vs Khan II. I don't know what these guys are waiting for be if you want stardom you have to take on the big match ups to get stardom and you have to do it CONSISTENTLY! You will NEVER become a star if you don't take on the very best that your Division has to offer.

But Danny Garcia Resume is actually very good, now of course we can argue if he won or lost some fights but he basically cleaned out 140 including beating the guy most people on this forum said would destroy him, Lucas Matthysse. Only fight he shouldn't have taken was Rod Salka. I'm not even all that upset about him fighting Paulie as his first fight at Welterweight but the Salka thing was BAD
