I doubt its Berto, why would anyone think that? Especially since he's already talking extension with Showtime for 3 more fights.

It'll at least be a semi-credible opponent more so than Berto. And who cares anyway, I'm sure the person Floyd is fighting is already aware and in training camp, you all act like these fools are sitting with their thumbs up their ass waiting on ol boy to make an announcement.

I think, I hope its khan. Khan has been awfully quiet of late since they said he lost the fight due to his talking? Naturally youd expect khan to be cursing FLoyd now but he hasn't, so maybe khan knows something we don't?

Maybe khan had to shut up and he has done it to a satisfactory level for Floyd to consider him now.

That would actually be awesome if you think about it. Nobody knows who the opponent is until he takes off a mask seconds before the fight.

Doubt it's Khan, he's in Dubai not in camp. Contrary to popular belief the prospective opponents would have a clue if they're in the mix. I'd interpret his silence as him not wanting to jeopardize his chance at being #50,#51 etc

i support floyd bc i get tired of his haters..i do that with other fighters that have irrational haters like stevenson, ward, rigo..u name it if ppl hating for no reason i get pissed....but in this situation i'm upset with how this is going..u've been having options since june..mayweather and showtime have held the ball every time and numbers have dropped..announce fights and quit playing with us..i'm finally on board with the "retire already" crowd..its just time u've done it all u dont care anymore and that is that on that..

sidenote if this guy anounce a legit opponent he has balls and is doing things other great fighters did not do...ali took soft touches after his big fights late, srl did in his prime...all the top guys took softies..if he calls out at thruman floyd is easily tbe
