This past Saturday night Sullivan Barrera improved his record to 16-0 with 11 knockouts when he stopped Hakim Zoulikha in the 8th round of their fight at the Mandalay Events Center. On the same card, former champion Jean Pascal won a hard fought decision over Yunieksy Gonzalez of Cuba.

Barrera has been looking for a big fight and after taking a short rest, he plans to return to Big Bear and resume training with Abel Sanchez.

Pascal should prove he is worthy of a Kovalev rematch, the cuban he fought beat him. Kovalev says he's going to Russia to fight, pascal won't go to Russia so fight Barrera in Canada. Great fight in my opinion Barrera has the right frame of mind he must go to Canada to look for knockout to avoid the judges. GREAT FIGHT IMO
