Comments Thread For: Hearn Ready To Make Two Fight Frampton-Quigg Offer

Scott Quigg and Carl Frampton could sign a two-fight deal to meet in Manchester then Belfast if Eddie Hearn’s offer is agreed.

The long-awaited super-bantamweight collision could become a double-header in each fighter’s hometown if Frampton’s representatives return to the negotiating table with Quigg’s Matchroom promoter Hearn.

The Manchester man quickly halted Kiko Martinez last weekend on the same night his Northern Irish rival recovered from two knock-downs to defeat Alejandro Gonzalez Jr, and Hearn now wants to arrange their all-British scrap in two cities.

Give Frampton 60-40 and then if Quigg wins, you get to dictate terms for a rematch.

Stop trying to pull another fast one, Eddie.

Hearn is just terrified that Quigg, the mandatory challenger will be forced to give up his kiddie belt made to milk saps and have to take on the actual WBA champ and elite operator Rigo and doesn't want to see his boy destroyed. Hence he wants the two title fight deal with Frampton. Hearn and Quigg don't have a leg to stand on with these negotiations.

50-50 then winner gets the bigger share in the rematch. No?

I don't see why Frampton should or would accept that.

He sells out arenas on his own in Belfast. Scott Quigg was on the under card to Anthony Crolla in Manchester and has never headlined a show on his own.

Frampton also has a legitimate world title which he took from the guy who Hearn is now raving about Quigg beating. Quigg has a mickey mouse belt which was basically handed to him.

Dirk is spot on. Quigg needs Frampton to make both money and a name for himself. On the other hand, Frampton can make huge money fighting whoever he likes in Belfast and is already far more famous than Quigg. Hearn had better offer Frampton the terms he deserves or this fight won't happen.

Admire Hearn's enthusiasm but he won't get anywhere dictating terms to Frampton's camp. They're far too stubborn and have more options both fighting in Belfast and on PBC.

Quigg vs. Donaire is a very good fight for them. Make that happen first.

This guy is a joke. Way I see it is Eddie ***** is desperate to get Frampton in against Quigg and make money before he has to face Rigo, he's saying s.hit like Quigg is in stronger position and Carl should come to Manchester even though Quigg ain't no champ ! Wtf man. Unfortunately Frampton holds all the cards and is likely being paid by Haymon the same to face scrubs as he is being offered to face Quigg in his hometown, which is all besides the point because Frampton stops him wherever, if poor Quigg is scared of choking in front of the Irish he shouldn't bother mentioning Frampton at all, ok we understand your desperate to cash out before Rigo pulls your A hole over your nose.

What's the chances Quigg vacates before facing Rigo if he don't get the Frampton fight ?

Said it before and will say it again. All Scott Quigg has is a Carl Frampton fight to look forward to. Carl just made his U.S. debut and all things indicate Mares-Cruz winner. Frampton is a "World" champion, a very good fighter and has options.

May be Quigg can fight Alejandro Gonzalez on Josh Warrington's undercard next.
