It's funny how the people who cry about Mayweather's safety first style continue to cry about him punching an opponent who tried to hug him.

Ortiz fouled Mayweather; he head butted Mayweater so hard he had to have a brain scan for a concussion. Mayweather hit a naive Ortiz with a legal punch.

No reason for a rematch. You don't attempt to cheat, get knocked out and walk yourself into a rematch.

Id' much rather see Floyd take on an "easy" fight (if that is what he is looking for) and take on Victor...rather than Berto....

I mean if you HAD TO choose only between Berto and Ortiz for May's last match...don't it make sense?

Take it from a guy with a Floyd cherry picking Berto avatar that Ortiz is a worse pick. He's reaaally fallen off since the fight with Floyd. A shame because the whole legal cheap shot angle could probably have sold a rematch had Ortiz followed it up with a solid W over someone else.

Ortiz is delusional but his fight against Floyd is one of my favourite to watch. I Just like the fact that it was high intensity, Mayweather controlling the action but with Ortiz having his occasional moments and the crowd goes crazy, then the drama at the end ... and the post fight interview of course.
