Tito more then likely stops him or wins a decisive decision, Chavez would have looked like a midget in there but his defense and chin are something you only hear of in legends and could carry him through to the end, Tito was something incredible at Welterweight though and loved it when his opponent came at him, can only see Chavez's downfall here.

Trinidad would have too many advantages.

Yeah he was just too undersized for the elite at the time at welterweight(Oscar, sweet pea and Tito). But that doesn't take away from what his legacy in lower weight division is.

Put it this way if he would have been able to beat sweet pea and Oscar he would prolly be top 15 of all time easily. None the less hes anywhere from as high as 20th(depends how bias they are) to 30th all time. I got him right around 25 give or take a spot or two.

This would've been an intriguing fight in the mid-nineties. Tito and Chavez actually fought on the same card on January 29, 1994 in Las Vegas. Tito beat Hector Camacho that night, while Chavez lost to Frankie Randall.

Pretty sure boxinghead said as much in the first sentence. Lol And he’s right. Tito wins at 147, but Chavez ranks higher in the all-time lists.

Chavez gets ko'd. Bad combination of tito being an atg puncher at that weight and Chavez being a much smaller and aggresive fighter. Might end up looking alot like Foreman vs Frazier or Hearns vs Duran

Tito fought Oba Carr the night Chavez fought Tony Lopez too.

Tito would have ruined Chavez at 147.
