Comments Thread For: Bradley's Trainer Feels Pacquiao Trilogy Can Happen

Joel Diaz, trainer for WBO welterweight champion Timothy Bradley, believes a trilogy fight can happen with Manny Pacquiao in the near future.

Bradley won a controversial twelve round split decision over Pacquiao in 2012 to capture the WBO belt. The Filipino superstar won their 2014 rematch and got the title back with a twelve round unanimous decision.

Pacquiao lost that belt to Floyd Mayweather Jr. in May. Mayweather was stripped of the title after not paying the sanctioning fee and that allowed Bradley to recapture the vacant crown after beating Jessie Vargas last month.

Unless Timmy is out his ****** mode. Timmy is the next Jermain Taylor and Michael Grant. They are just completely dumb fighters, for they could have everything going for them and give it away at last second.

Second fight was even up until Bradley decided to hunt for a KO.

Well yeah, PacBradley3 is already a foregone conclusion. Cmon its TR were talkn about here..Bobs so predictable, you might as well count Sadam Ali as already defeated, thats the conusion. Bob will do Ali as he does every non-TR fighter fighting against a TR fighter on a TR card...ask Herrera about that

Yeah definitely Pac takes this one. Everybody knows he was robbed in the first fight, and won the second one no problem. I don't see any reason it will be different in a third fight.

No need for it. Pac won them both.

I'd rather see Pac vs the winner of Garcia/Malignaggi. Or against someone like Khan or Provodnikov.

Probably his left pinky toe, because he was wearing the wrong color underwear or something. "I was dominating the fight, and was about to ko him, until the red underwear kicked in,and I sprained my pinky toe. Should have gone with blue. I'll get him in fight four!"

                    Re: the first fight:

"no matter...how you...cut it, slice it or dice it, he LOST to Timothy Bradley." -- Floyd Mayweather

I felt Bradley was dominating the second fight until he changed strategy, then he started losing. Joel Diaz even called it out during the fight.

I want to see the rubber match (and it IS a rubber match no matter what you say). I want to see, now that Floyd has given away the easy formula to beat Manny (frustrate him and don't play his game), if Bradley gets the W.

Bradley's champion. Same belt that he took from Manny and was then taken back, is now back in Bradley's hands. Manny has to go for it. Bob Arum won't have it any other way.

The only other POSSIBLE options I can see after Sadam Ali, is Bradley/Algieri, but I doubt we'll see that fight, or Bradley/Khan, and I don't think Khan wants it.
