  • Vic Darchinyan vs. Omar Andres Narvaez

It has been confirmed that Vic Darchinyan will put his IBF title on the line on June 3 against Argentian Omar Andres Narvaez of Argentina. Omar will put his WBO title on the line. The fight will take place at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas.

What are you predictions, who will win and how?

I havent seen this Omar guy fight so I was wondering if you guys can tell me a little about this fighter.

This is the second ShoBox main event on June 3rd prior to Castillo vs. Corrales III. What a card they put together. I just can't wait.

Dont want to look ahead too far, but if Darchinyan takes the WBO from Narvaez, we could later this year see a true undisputed KING of the flyweight division if WBC champ Jorge Arce puts his belt on the line against VIC. WOWWWW what a historical night for boxing that would be.

Any fighter who has decent boxing skills can beat Darchinyan. A good jab can keep Vic at bay for the whole twelve rounds. Vic is not aggressive enough to beat good boxers who will run all night, IMO. On the other hand, trade with Vic and you're gonna hit the canvass(unless you're Arce, then we'll see). The outcome of this fight will depend on the boxing style of the Argentinian.

I guess the last 4 boxers he KOed didnt have decent boxing skills huh?
One was IBF champ Irene Pacheco who was 30-0-0. The other was Sikali the IBO champ and the other two also didnt have decent skills. looool When he beats Jorge Arce, then ill hear people saying Arce wasnt at his prime or something. Man u guys should learn how to respect fighters. Vic has proved himself over and over again. You wanna brawl with him hell Knock u out. U wanna use ur skills, hell still Knock u out. This guys throws bombs and sooner or latter hes gonna get u with one of those bombs and ur gonna hit the canvas.

The win over Pacheco was very nice...but I don't think Pacheco is in the same class as Arce. Arce is about as tough as they come.

very true, and VIC is even tougher, so if both Arce and Vic can beat their upcoming opponents on April 8 and June 3rd, we will have "fight of the year" later this year, or should i say "Brawl of the Year".

Not to mention it would unify pretty much all the belts -
                    VIC's (IBF,IBO,WBO) and ARCE's (WBC).
