I dont ever wanna see Pascal again!
Gonzalez is entertaining but he's not that good. Skip him and lets get to the meat and potatoes.

It looks like I'm the only one that doesn't want this fight now, but I give two ****s.
I hope this fight doesn't happen next. It's obvious Artur needs more experience and needs to build up. There are mistakes he makes that could cost him against Kovalev. There is a lot of room for improvement. "Well he can improve after this fight doe." He can improve after every fight not just against Kovalev.
I've been watching Artur longer than most (since 2007), I give him a shot at beating Sergey, but it wouldn't be wise to fight him now.
This will probably be a brutal fight and could be a career changer.
Why does Stevenson get a pass? If Kovalev can't get him, let Artur beat up on him.
I knew they signed up Artur to be Stevenson's savior. "Oh please save p*ssy Adonis from Sergey, please!!"

Why can't Artur and Sergey clean up the rest of the 175 division before facing each other?

Beterbiev's team just pulled Kathy Duva's card. I expect her to punk out now by offering a horrible deal.

I hope I'm wrong, though. This would be a great fight between two hard punchers who have bad blood between them.

Beterbiev is even more untested than Gonzales! Beterbievs biggest win is Cloud! So how is That not a good match up!

What happens in amateurs , stays in amateurs .

I'm not comfortable with Beterbiev having only 9 pro fights but I guess since he beat Kovalev in the amateurs twice and destroyed Cloud and Campillo with ease, it does become interesting. It's definitely 10x better than GGG-Lemeiuex.

To me there are only 3 guys that matter right now at the tip top elite level at 175. Kovalev, Stevenson & Beterbiev. If Kovalev vs Stevenson can't be made cuz of all the drama & money issues & Stevenson seems on tap to fight another also ran in September making Stevenson vs Beterbiev out of play, Kovalev vs Beterbiev is the best fight in the division to make imho, there is no clean up needed. Those cats below need to make something happen to get to these guys' level.

I suspect you'll get your wish cuz I can't imagine that HBO will allow for Beterbiev to come in & potentially take 3 alphabet "world" belts from one of their fighters without getting options on him & it sounds like thats a deal breaker for Michel. I think if it doesn't happen now its probably not gonna happen is my main issue here. I'm actually surprised Duva made this offer to begin with cuz if the fight does get made it seems like a huge risk for her only notable fighter.

Tend to agree. Duva has Haymon on the brain all day & night. She's probably been cooking up this plan for weeks on end. I'm hoping she's just blinded by supreme confidence that Kov can beat anyone at 175 & this is truly a 100% legit offer without a bunch of small print bs.

Even if Duva is on the up & up. And thats a big if. I wonder if HBO would require some sort of HBO options with or without Duva as a co-promoter if he were to beat Kov since HBO does have a deal in place with Kov & that would severely hurt their investment in him if Beterbiev won.
