I pick Beterbiev to win. Kovalev is good from the outside. Also Kovalev opens his defense. You see in the Cleverly fight he wasn't comfortable going straightforward. Kovalev took breaks in between combinations, Artur just doesn't let you breath, always puts pressure throwing barrages.

Yvon sounds reasonable. He wants the win, a rematch, and then move on without HBO having his fighter's next 5 fights. Hopefully this monster match up can be made.

Beterbiev>kovalev
Haymon>Duva
I also really like when Yvon Michel said "There is no problem [with HBO]. Artur is in a different position than Stevenson. Stevenson is a champion, he has an association with a network in Showtime and wherever he is he demands a big purse. Artur is challenger and he understands the position of being a challenger. And when a challenger has an opportunity to fight against the champion [he takes it],"
That tells me he's serious and he's not going to pull a Haymon and start forcing purse bids just because he's a mandatory challenger so he can poach a title. Or maybe he will and he's not telling, who knows. But so far that's what I wanted to hear.
Fight the champion on his network and in his venue. Hopefully Duva also does her part and offers Beterbiev a fair offer.

Sick fight. Meanwhile over at Premier Bum Chumps, Stevenson is rumored to be fighting Edwin Rodriguez.

If it goes to decision I pick Artur, again. He doesn't waste punches, analyze his opponent, while Kovalev throws no matter if they connected. Artur would win by % punches connected. As you can see Artur punches behind the gloves to the head as GGG does.
