What is this crap with tune ups all the time lately? Lemieux just won a world title. If he needs a tune up after that, he should hand the title to N'Dam and retire.

This board has the most unknowledgeable boxing fans who actually think they know boxing that I have ever seen in my life. In the Stevens fight, GGG knocked him down early to prove he could take him out whenever he wanted and then he took his time and punished him for being disrespectful. If Stevens' corner had not stopped the fight, GGG would have continued to beat him until he quit or the ref stepped in to stop it.

Golovkin had no worries at all in regards to Stevens' power. He took everything Stevens had in the first two rounds and then went to work. If Lemieux does not do anything ****** with trash talk leading up to the fight, I see GGG taking him out early. If Lemieux gets insulting and talks shit like Stevens did, it could be a very long night for him.

But Golovkin will have little trouble with him.

Golovkin is an experienced fighter, he will be in no rush and in no hurry. he will evaluate Lemieux over the first couple of rounds and then go to work. No different than he does in any other fight.

... Lemieux is too green for this one... he will soon find himself in no man's land, with Golovkin in his usual range of action...

Lemieux's power is the intrigue of this fight. How will GGG deal with someone who can really punch? If Lemieux can find his way inside I suspect it'll be a shootout.

Buy Canelo some more time? You know Canelo is not moving up to 160 just yet. It's like GGG ducking Ward yet they are in different weight classes.

Over the first couple of rounds we will see that could favor Lemieux who's no bum with power!!!

Why is there even a fuss about this? The guy has already been stopped by a lesser opponent, it will happen again.

I think Lemieux's power is over rated. He was able to knock N'Dam down but could not stop him. For that alone, I would like to see how N'Dam would do against GGG. I do not think Lemmy hits any harder than Stevens and his hardest shots are wild round house shots that are telegraphed. Try to load up one of those on Golovkin and his arm will still be ****ed back when he hits the mat unconscious.
