Beterbiev is hardly a "stay-busy" fight. Fact is, even though he only has 9 professional fights, he has already beaten Kovalev twice when an amateur. He's heavy-handed, very much in the mould of Kovalev himself, so personally i'd quite like to see that match-up, and just hope Haymon doesn't squelch it in order to keep Beterbiev for a future bout with Stevenson, whose got no one to fight either.

What is more, how does Pascal deserve a rematch, other than it being a big draw in Montreal? The guy who earned a fight with Krusher last night was Gonzalez, that would be a fun fight as well, for as long as it lasted anyway.

This rematch shows how thin the 175 division is. Kovalev will have to move to heavyweight soon.

Yeah the division needs some of the 168 guys to maybe move up, there is some good names that could potentially move to 175 but atm we might be waiting a few years for it to happen.
