Like some of you guys wouldn't want this fight to happen at all I don't understand you. Seriously.
Duva is optimistic, says she is in talks with RN recently about a Kovalev vs Ward fight. Kovlev is optimistic too.

If they (Roc Nation) are talking about a possible Ward vs Kovalev clash with Kovalev's promoter that means that Ward is interested in the fight and wants to fight Kovalev. You know, it's highly unlikely that RN talks about this fight without Ward's known.
So I see everybody is optimistic about the fight gets made except some bitter fans of Kovalev who are God knows why are so bitter but they are and they always try to make things negative and pessimistic even if the situation isn't dark at all but promising.

You don't like Ward. I get it, we all get it, but just because that you shouldn't write illogical stuff, based on nothing but on your dislike toward the fighter.

And I disagree that he would be way above Froch or Kessler. With what he proved that? We will yet have to see. Kovalev is "new", Froch and Kessler are veterans, both retired lately, the dust already settled on their careers, their mistakes became more obvious as they continued to fight hard competition through the years. This is why many people already suckered into the thought that Kovalev is better than this HOF member or that HOF member and etc...
Wait till the dust settle Kovalev's career too or at least wait till he fight more elite competition before you say that.

... Virgil Hunter just said during an interview (which was linked on this site) that Ward isn't moving at 175 until he's sure he gets a "plainfield" or something like this... Therefore you just wait until Ward is signing a fight with Kovalev...

GGG has lemieux for October, and the winner of cotto-canelo for early 2016. Kovalev has a fight in Russia for November, and a TBA for early 2016. That gives ward plenty of time to decide whether he's going to stay at 168 and wait for ggg,or if he's going to get use to 175 and get ready for kovalev.

... since the Dawson fight, Ward had plenty of time to decide where to go... and he couldn't decide...
... but I can understand him: the guy is fed up with boxing and it shows... unfortunately (for his fans)...

yeah but fortunately for his haters like me. we don't want to see his boring ass clinch nonstop. also he's just bitter because he's not popular and thinks he deserves huge money even though the reason he's not popular is because he's a boring clincher. now that he has his 2 million guarantee he's just going to fight bums because he hates boxing and just wants easy money.

he should have fought bute for a career high payday but he didn't. he should have foght stevenson but he didn't. he should have rematched froch for a career high payday but he didn't. why is it obvious he will fight kovalev if he didn't fight those guys?

Unlike GGG, Kovalev is not passiv when you clinch him and also very strong, Ward's "veteran tactics" wont work, trust me.

                      Bit of an understatement there.

He would " test " you alright.
