Golovkin was prepared to fight Chavez at 168 NOW !
Golovkin was not prepared to fight Ward at 168 NOW !
Golovkin is a grown man, a grown man who chose to be a professional fighter for a living..... so no, he is not a coward, I think that would be highly unlikely.
GGG is a very good fighter, who campaigns in a very weak middleweight era.
But unfortunately, Golovkin has failed to live up to his hype, and he appears to be avoiding movers/spoilers.
It is all about the money...... money is affected/determined by public perception/PR..... public perception/PR often = bullshht !
Such is life.

You trumpet that GGG is a killer, based solely on hype, because he hasnt fought anyone yet...... you say that Ward should agree to Hypekins catchweight, but then you say that little 153lb Cotto should fight at the divisional limit.
You want to suck GGG off as a killer, but you dont want him to have to prove it.
fanboy slurper !
Here son, I will show you a double-standard !

2) Both of those fighters have shown Golovkin the middle finger, but Golovkin is still begging for those fights, and he is still fighting no-hopers in the meantime..... Golovkin is the Amir Khan of the middleweight division
3) Cotto weighs 153, and Canelo weighs 154/155, they are obviously JMW's
4) Golovkin stated " anyone from 154-168 ", and he called out Froch/Chavez at 168
5) Golovkin was ready to fight Froch/Chavez NOW, Ward is ready NOW, Canelo/Cotto are not
6) Stop protecting your loud-mouth girlfriend..... if she cant keep it shut, maybe she does deserve a slap around the chops?

" middleweight doe "

About 31 of those fights were stay busy fights.
I expect more from my guy.
Originally posted by Mr. Punch-Out!! View PostExactly! Anyone from 154 to 168. Can you guess which two boxers I want him to go up against?
Whereas, I know that those guys are both JMW's.
JMW's who have already given Golovkin the middle finger.
TBH, if Golovkin came out and said, it is too soon for me to consider fighting an elite fighter like Ward at 168..... some of the lesser guys may have been an option, but I would prefer to wait until I move to 168 before fighting Ward....... that would be fine ! NO PROBLEM WHATSOEVER !
Its the bullsht, that you fans have bought into.
Listen, when Golovkin stated that he would fight Froch/Chavez at 168, but not Ward...... you Golovkin fans should have said, WHOAH whatsup ?
It did not happen.
That was bad, but not as bad as what happened a few days later.
Next thing, after demanding a catchweight from Ward, Golovkin flatly refuses to fight 153lb Cotto unless he weighs the full divisional limit.
Sorry bro, but that is completely unacceptable from a supposed top fighter.
I had no choice but to classify the hoards of Golovkin fans who signed off on that..... as nothing but fanboys.

Not my fault.

"So when you have two fighters wanting to fight each other, usually, all of the details can be worked out."
"I've told Eddie Hearn many times that Gennady would move to 168"
I think [fighting in the] middle is very correct, not 160, not 168. 164 is very correctly.
