    successful unorthodox training methods

    what's up fellas, just wanted to touch base with a few of you and hopefully you can tell me something I can use, or find what I have to say useful

    I've found two things that when done on top of 12 rounds on the bag and some shadowboxing will really truly improve punching power drastically, and build you up around the lesser-used areas of your back to allow more angle punching


    what I've found that has given me an edge is wrist-weighted underwater shadowboxing followed up with 2 rounds of regular shadowboxing

    also if you take a barbell with say 145lb on it and turn it vertical, put the bottom of the bar on the base of a wall, then position yourself in a punching stance and throw some explosive shots.(if you arent explosive with the movement,then the results wont be explosive)

    that's just two of the things I know of that are rather unused .

    anybody that has any knowledge of other unorthodox training methods, please post em.
