there is no demand for a kovalev-pascal rematch at this point. put him in with a fresh opponent in gonzalez instead of a guy he already beat by stoppage in a fun but one sided fight. rematch with pascal won't produce the same fireworks. pascal will just get beaten up and stopped.

We all know he won the fight

I wonder why they didn't give either of them a post fight interview. I'd love to see a rematch but I doubt Pascal will give him one

He shouldn't have treated it like a loss at end of the fight, a lot agree that he should have won now for the next step finding someone a bit better than Pascal?
Not sure who though, perhaps Beterbiev.

God.. have you guys watch the fight today ? I mean.. sober ? That wasn't a robery at all. Just look at the % Gonzalez had. Yes, he was the ''agressor'', but he landed only 25% of his shot while Pascal had 47%. And btw, of all the 25% punched he hit Pascal, how many of them where ''hammer punch'' ? I'm a big boxing fan and I just don't remember seeing a boxer hit that way. This is ridiculous and I think the ref would agreed with me that you cannot beat a former world champion by landing ******ed hammer like that.. It remind me the Maidana-Money fight, but Pascal was clearly more effective than Gonzalez and he also landed the best punch. This was a really close bout but no controversy there, best man win.

rewatch the fight with the volume off. and without the fact of knowing that pascal wasa huge faourite and rescore the fight and be honest.

coming forward throwing more punches landing at a low percent
vs throwing less landing almost half and landed the better punches.

                      quantity vs quality.

hbo outraged. but when Paul williams throws way more punches vs lara they score it for the guy that throw way less and landed at higher.

Pascal s Gonzalez was a close fight and if that was a robbery than almost everyfight can be called a robbery now...

the judges from paul willaims fight vs lara had to get retrained for scoring rounds to the guy that threw more but landed at a low percentage.

the fight was 96-94 either way or a draw.
96-94 gonzalez is a fine score.

no way did gonzalez win 4 of the first 5 like harold said...
