He clearly got thumbed, it happens now and then. Question is did Kovalev do it on purpose and should there be a rematch? Should Kovalev be stripped of the titles for intentional use of the thumb??

First, either you are trolling, or you know nothing of boxing. Mohammedi was clearly dropped by legitimate and legal punches. Repeatedly I've watched the final knockdown, and there was no thumb. Mohammedi had taken all the punishment that he could withstand. That he, Mohammedi, is now claiming foul diminishes his stature in my eyes. Clearly Mohammedi was beaten by a superior fighter, Sergey Kovalev, and if they would fight again and again, Sergey would win every fight and stop Mohammedi ever time. That Mohammedi was hurt so badly by Kovalev's punches only speaks to Sergey's power and skill.
