      - less than 50% KO ratio
      - Coming off losses to other welterweights or lightwelterweights
      - Not at the top of his career
      - Someone people know, but don't care about
      - Former light welterweight

Khan originally said he was never fighting Peterson again, after Peterson was found to have test pellets in his system. But after the rest of the top welterweights amassed a KO ratio of more than 50% (except for Floyd who's on 54%), his options are really running out.

He's already taken care of a number of low hanging fruits and bigged them up as beasts like Devon Alexander, Luis Collazo and Chris Algieri who all fall in under all of the categories above (except Collazo is a true WW), so now he's targeting the next in line - Peterson.

So this fight is likely to happen in November/December.

What do you feel about this next cherrypick from Khan? Is this the fight that will get him Mayweather?

Exactly and Leonard Bundu or Chris Van Heerden fit none of those, so Khan should target them instead. Raw punchers, Guys who are at the top of their careers and are division cash cows people know all about.

Lamont Peterson can be the best name on some highly talked, yet never delivering WWs.

-Wtf does former LWW mean? Is that supposed to degrade Lamont? I mean Khan was a former LW ffs or Mayweather a former SFW. Both guys grew in to the weight unlike Gavin. Not to mention Amir is also coming off losses to LW and a LWW.

-Diego Chaves has a 73% KO ratio and names beaten? Titles won? I'm waiting?

-Oh no they don't care about Peterson, boo hoo. People care about him more than Heerden, Bundu and Sam Eggington put together. Not that it matters.

This is mortifying stuff from Laced Up. Desperation to "troll".

That's true, they don't. So it's unlikely Khan would even fight them.

Like who? Diego Chaves drew with the guy who beat Peterson with ease, so where's your logic? Former light welterweights means what it says. You shouldn't need more than peas for brains to figure that one out. Most welterweights in the division want to test themselves against other true welterweights. Guys who have either fought in the division for damn near 10 years like Mayweather, or are natural 147 lbers like a Thurman, Porter or Brook.

It's pretty embarrassing to drag someone up to WW and claim you've proven yourself like Khan has multiple times.

I don't understand why you keep bringing up Bundu, Van Heerden etc. you're the only one bringing them up, nobody else is.

Lamont Peterson rematch would be a decent ish fight, if anything he would have the chance to shut up those ******s who still count a drugged up Lamont Peterson as a loss for Khan.

Still much rather see Khan against Thurman or Porter doe if no Brook.

So according to your own words on one hand it's a cherry pick from Khan yet on the other hand Lamont Peterson ''would have a very good chance''?

Yes just like Algieri was a cherry pick and also managed to walk through Khan's punches and came closer to winning than he was meant to.

Really not that hard to figure out, and doesn't make it any less of a cherry pick.

Oh yeah, just like how Danny Garcia was meant to be a cherry pick right?

Here's an idea, if all these world champs and ex world champs are meant to be such easy fights for Khan according to you uber nerds on this forum, hows about you slightly lower your rating of Khan and not rate him so highly you think world class boxers such as Peterson and Devon are supposed to be such easy fights for him?

I mean he's either not that good and will struggle against the likes of Algeiri and Peterson or he's that good they'll be easy fights?

Or is it only the hard punchers he'll struggle against?

But he struggled against Algieri doe.

Khan is not wasting his time on PED user Lamont

Lamont is still on that stuff - see Angel Garcia's latest interview
