That's because there was no Light-heavyweight competition from across the street at Showtime. Stevenson took his "talents" to quote LeBron to the other network and they make sure to announce him as THE Light-Heavyweight Champ. Notice how Michael Buffer said "The universally recognized" Light-heavyweight Champ tonight. He was probably instructed to do that as HBO wants to have the champ on their network. And so having three belts matters.

Max Kellerman barely asks him about Stevenson and made it a point to say that Ward would be a bigger fight. Classic network War.

So, Ward's probably gonna try and wait on that. I'd like to see Kovalev challenge Wilder. But I guess Haymon makes that tough. Kovalev's done all he can do at light heavy. The cruiserweight division isn't real popular over here. But there's a couple Russian beltholdets there. Plus, most of the tpp guys there would love to get on the HBO platform. Chasing titles in multiple divisions always creates interest and excitement. Something I think Kovalev should consider before his career hits a stalemate waiting on things to happen. Sometimes you gotta make things happen.
      And you called me ******ed...

Pretty much every ATG light heavyweight has tested the heavyweight waters. Ezzard Charles, Billy Conn, Bob Foster, Michael Spinks, and most recently Roy Jones. Its just what great light heavyweights do.

            That's nuts.
Don't think I said one time I was "fine" eith anything. I just understand the business of boxing. As a boxing fan, I'd rather see Ward-Kovalev than Ward-GGG because I think its a more competitive. As a person that dislikes fans like yourself, I'd rather see Ward-GGG. That's pretty self explanatory.

Krusher vs SOG...since Mister 164 is acting like a little b*tch....Krusher got enough talent, heart and balls to match skills with SOG...last night was just a showcase fight...nothing more!!....Krusher just took his dog out for a walk so there's NOTHING to get all hyped about....the Mister 164 fluff girls gonna overreact though...their loose vaginas probably got wet when Max asked Krusher about Ward ....hoe ass dudes!!

Yea thars the fight to make. Hopefully HBO gets it done next year asap. Kovalev has zero options and if they are trying to sell another pascal fight or mandatory title defense then that's bull
