Maybe most recently got aesthetically pleasing I'd go with Lomachenko, guy's got footwork for days
Not sort of. It IS ugly. And I agree with LSC too.

I'm not sure what it is, but I always quite liked Tito's style. It's not classically beautiful but I like it.

Lomachenko, Gonzalez and Rigondeaux are all beautiful to watch and exciting as well. A lot of the Japanese fighters at the lower weights are also very fluid and well-schooled in their movements.

JMM is a weird mix of the aesthetic and the awkward. When he's throwing combinations it's like poetry in motion, but he also has a certain crudeness to his movements that takes the edge off the overall effect. He's also way too hittable, which often sees him either stumbling about or flat on his arse. Again, detracting from the overall effect.

Ward has an ugly style but does everything well. He's not someone I find aesthetically pleasing but can appreciate in the fluidity and grace of his movements (god that sounded fruity).

Guys who are just ugly are way too numerous to list.

If you looked up boxing in any textbook he'd basically be the role model for all of them.

            rigondeaux is not textbook.

he's a very unconventional figther. for starters, he's a southpaw and a counterpuncher. he paws the jab, and leads with the left hand. he pulls straight away, clowns around a bit. he's "technical." he's not "textbook."

Ward looked almost perfect against Paul Smith. Very fluid, very textbook.

I bash him a lot but he can be pleasing. Maybe not against punchers but for Smith he looked great aesthetically speaking.

I think Marquez is hittable because he does take a lot of chances with his offense, which is fun to see.

I actually think Monzon is aesthetically pleasing in some ways, but I get what you're saying. His foot movement was very plodding and deliberate, but his accuracy and use of reach later in his career was brilliant.

For current aesthetic fighters I agree with those saying Lomachenko. Nobody in the sport throws better combinations than him.

                  Ugly I'll go with Porter.

All time aesthetic, Sugar Ray Robinson is a good pick.

All time ugly, Gene Fullmer is in the running.

I think Ward is an interesting pick because he goes from aesthetically pleasing one moment to ugly the next in a lot of his fights. He is a very smooth fighter with terrific skills who can be very good to watch, but also has had the tendency of sort of bull-rushing his opponent head first into a clinch after throwing the right hand.

Exactly. He's an offensive counter puncher whereas Mayweather is a defensive counter puncher. JMM will stand in there and possibly take a shot to his shot/shots in while Floyd's primary goal is not get hit at all, even if he doesn't make you pay. JMM's combinations are beautiful, particularly when he throws that left uppercut in there.
