Klimas really needs to STFU and make some fights.
I'm tired of all these rumours and "want this want that" news.Comment

It wasn't careful matchmaking, it was taking a risk because no fighter fights for a title fight in their 2nd fight. Loma proved a lot that night and came out looking solid. He's not cherry picking, its careful match making by TR. Obviously they thought someone with Loma's boxing skills would beat Salido's pressure. And the way they hyped Loma up (medals, 300+ amateur fights won, etc) he should have. Salido just deflated the hype balloon a little bit is all.Last edited by richardt; 07-25-2015, 05:42 PM.Comment

The point flew WAY over your head. No one fights a champ in only their 2nd pro fight. That was a HUGE step up in class and there is no way of spinning that ANY differently! Many people picked Salido to win. Salido didn't spoil anyone's party, it was a win-win situation for Loma and he impressed by even being competitive with a guy with Salido's experience and coming in way over the limit on top of being punched below the belt many times. Any other ref would have disqualified Salido. And now Loma is being called one of the best fighters today. You'll have to find a way to live with that. And Salido didn't want the fight because in his words, there were other fighters in line who were more deserving. And anyone can be bought and Salido was bought so yes, he did want the fight when money came his way. Funny how that works. You are missing the point. Salido did not want the fight, he as much said so before the fight. He was ashamed of being the so called sacraficial lamb to Loma's deification. Loma and his team pushed for it and Salido let him have it. Welcome to the big time, losers cry cheat every week.Last edited by richardt; 07-25-2015, 06:29 PM.Comment

Lomachenko would probably KO Selby even though I have never seen Selby hurt I think Loma could end his night unexpectedly.Comment

Correct me if I'm wrong but it was Loma who issues the challenge right? Not sure how does that mean that Rigo has his "Hand Out".Comment

Loma came looking for Rigo and Rigo told them what it would take to make the fight. With Him never fighting at 126 he wanted a catchweightRigondeaux is the one making diva demands regarding the weight for the potential bout and Walters is the one who was unprofessional by coming in over weight.
Selby is NOT a big name anywhere in the UK by a long shot. You have been misinformed. He can't even sell tickets in Wales which is his home country.
I don't see how Lomachenko wanting to fight at the real weight limit and wanting to fight on neutral territory is being a diva.
not a big deal. Loma team rejected that and everybody moves on. But again it is not just that situation it is other things, I think the reasoning for not wanting to fight Nicholas Walters because "HE DOESN'T HAVE A TITLE" is BS
As for Selby, you're from the UK I'm not so I have to take your Word for it. However in the US, Loma is not selling out any Arenas on his own yet. All of his fights been UNDERCARD Fight so far so again I don't see how his team THINK they're in Position to make these demands. They're all still trying to make names for themselves! Fighting each other would help boost their stock even more but realistically those are not Divisions that products big starts and big draws. They're all somewhat in the Same Boat! And in the US a guy fighting at 126 becoming a "Superstar" is NOT LIKELY!Comment

I hate to use the terminology, but Loma is the "A-side".
He issues challenges because he is that type of individual who wanted to jump in with the wolves right away. Rigo is desperate for fights, so he should be happy someone called him out and means it.Comment
