It's his style. If people thought Bradley wings some of his punches, that's nothing to the way Garcia punches man, the guy swings WIDE as hell with every hook. That's why the jab eats him up, he is all offensive and has his arms in a position to throw power shots. A guy like Pac would obliterate a fighter like Garcia based on the way they throw their punches alone.

Kell Brook would KO Garcia quite easily because he would be landing at a 50% clip on power shots and probably around 60% or more on jabs.

I don't know if anyone KO's Garcia quite easily. He's got a solid chin. Took bombs from Matthysse and Peterson. But anyway, I don't think it's his winging shots because I've seen him throw plenty of straight shots. It's those cement feet that sometimes make him an easy mark. He's very slow transitioning from offense to defense but he compensates with really good counterpunching -- something he can do because he isn't afraid to sit in the pocket.

It's a combination of things, he does have heavy feet...I've noticed that. Paulie isn't what he used to be as a boxer but I think he will do much better against Garcia than some people assume he will with his jab and movement. I also suspect that he stayed at 140 for so long because of his ability to cut massive weight which allowed him to have a great size advantage over opponents in the ring. At 147, he won't have that same ability and they guys he will be facing are going to be just as big as he is.

I'm actually thinking he might end up like Chavez against Fonfara when he faces some of these bigger guys. The only problem is that he won't have the luxury of dropping back down in weight like Chavez did. He has a very solid build and wide shoulders with little fat so he doesn't have much wiggle room to work with. His handlers have seen something in him that they don't like which is why he has been matched the way that he has imo.

He doesn't have a glass chin but the power that he will be facing from these bigger guys is going to be a problem for him.

Yeah it'll be interesting to see how he adjusts to moving up. it could be that trying to make weight was beginning to affect him. And that he'll be refreshed at 147. Or he gets manhandled.

Yeah true. But Peterson looked like a beast. I know I wasn't the only one thinking "wtf?" while watching his performance. It was like man versus boy.

Bradley has done nothing at 147 to favor him over Garcia and Floyd is set to retire, so u can scratch that fight off too..it'll depend on what Garcia shows up, the underdog who finds a way to win or looks average when he fights lesser competition..

Garcia will probably wind up at the bottom half of WW's top 10, no shame in that.

Id agree with you but Maidana is as good as done in boxing man.
