Comments Thread For: Jose Felix Back on 9/19, Eyes Felix Verdejo Clash

Rising lightweight Jose Felix Jr. has had a productive year, thus far. First he blew out Raymond Sermona in one round in Macao and in his last fight he out-pointed the tough Yakubu Amidu over ten. And it looks like he's gotten his next assignment. [Click Here To Read More]

Why not? Catch em while their green. A legend doesn't pick on someone who is still gaining experience. A legend picks on someone with advantages against him or plenty of experience that has built up his own sort of legend.

Fighting someone green or when you have 75% of the advantages does not make you a legend.

Jose Felix Jr. doesn't want anything from Verdejo. Verdejo by KO.

Jose Felix Jr. will add another loss to his record. Enough said.

Felix is only 1 yr older than Verdejo...maybe Verdejo needs to step it up.

This will be a good fight. A great test for Vardejo. Hope it happens.

This is a test for Verdejo. Lets see how he responds. I assume it will be a 10 rounder.

Did you see where Top Rank told him he'd likely be fightign in September? Unimas.

Pretty sure he'd like to get a bigger fight, and Verdejo represents a bigger fight....possibly on HBO, where he almost fought after he accepted the late replacement shot against Soto, before Soto got injured.
