The difference is when Kovalev was presented the opportunity to shine, he jumped all over it. With ggg all you get is 164 or no fight, what has Lara done to deserve a fight, Cotto won't fight me, etc

Kovalev had hopkins willing to fight him. GGG has no champion willing to fight him, at least at his weight class

he took extremely short money to make the hopkins fight happen (probably why hopkins chose him over stevenson), and he fought cleverly in wales and pascal in montreal
He was out of shape and GGG was ready. Where did you read that??

I like the way you say he took short money for Hopkins! He made a career high payday for a 50 year old man! Props to him but don't give me the "short money ****"

I applaud him for the Cleverly fight but you realise Clev was the champ did you expect him to fight Sergey in Russia?

He took pascal in Canada because the guy sells seats! Nothing you've said tells us that Kovalev has taken "huge risks" in his career

When have we ever seen Kovalev too much out of shape? He's a big LHW but there's a difference between a guy like Chavez jr and Kovalev! The guy outweighed GGG by 30+ lbs and still got dropped!

And Kovalev had a purse of half a million for the fight, which if I'm not mistaken was a career high for him! Taxes and expenses cut him to $125,000!

You say not many world champs would get out of bed for that money? I think you're overestimating what the majority of fighters get! It took Sergio Martinez until Chavez jr to make €1.4 million, that was his first million+ payday! There's a select few fighters that can make bank in this sport

You keep creaming your panties at the thought of Kovalev getting supposedly dropped by Golovkin in sparring, any proof or legit sources to back that up? You know, besides baseless rumors? Kovalev even denied these allegations by just stating that it was good work because he didn't want to go to hard on the smaller man. Also, I saw the video of Mosley making GGG look pretty basic in sparring, yet Kovalev, a much bigger and stronger man in his prime, was laid out by a guy two divisions below him? lol please.

GGG wants to fight everybody, Kovalev does not want to fight Stevenson. There is a difference between them here too.
