In the last few months, Lara - who holds the WBA/IBO titles at junior middleweight - has demanded a fight with Golovkin.

Lara is not alone. Former WBC 154-pound champion Sergio Mora was also calling for a shot at Golovkin.

Oh god please no more Team GGG statements I can't take it

Also I don't care if he fights Lara tbh. I think GGG would win, and it would be boring as balls. If Lara moves up to 160 and does something worth mentioning, maybe I'll change my mind.

I like GGG, he is a talented fighter the best at 160. Him vs Lemmiux would be great. However, his team I feel like are hindering him from going to that next lvl he is not a spring chicken anymore. Lara has a more credible resume canelo, Williams, Trout, Angulo. if there are no credible opponents at 160 he should move up to 168. He did claim he would fight anyone from 54-68 now it's time to back that up. Unless he's fighting Lemmiux next who I believe is the second best at 160, he should move up

Guess Lara needs to hope PBC runs another Boxcino tournament on ESPN next year so he can earn his shot at GGG like Monroe did.

LMFAO what a lame @ss excuse. So what makes Monroe more appealing than Lara? Both are slick southpaws who are coming up from 154 and Monroe has a way lower KO % and a way WEAKER resume with no fanbase. Matter fact if im not mistaken i dont think Monroe has ever been in a 12 rd championship fight prior to GGG lol. at least Lara is proven and experienced on that level. I like GGG but fck me his entire team have been going through a PR nightmare and the fanboys continue to defend this BS.
