The ultimate alpha male, lol. I'm gonna have to remember to call him that next time I'm defending his great name.

I admire him the same as I admire Ward and Mayweather, they've mastered their craft and are that far beyond any of their nearest challengers. I know Ward and Mayweather folk want them to move up to be challenged whereas Wlad can't, but I take welcome their are a lot of these new generation 'super' heavies coming through who will test him.

That's interesting BostonGuy. What is your opinion on Andre Ward?

          Even split in the poll.

Because of Klitschko's age, and because of Fury's youth, improved skills and size, there is definitely a chance of Tyson winning.

Wladimir showed his age in the Jennings fight, although he clearly won. A few year back he would have KOed a fighter on Jennings level (Brock).

However, I still consider Klitschko to be more likely to win - in my view, it's a 60-40 fight.

I'll be shocked if a fighter like Fury with his profound lack of discipline, lack of seriousness towards looking after himself outside of camp, with his excesses can overcome the current champ.

Wlad is the epitome of professionalism, having looked after himself his entire career he looks to be in better shape at 40 than Fury does at 26 years of age.

Not me bother, I'm happy watching and witnessing one of the all time greatests establish and break new records. A boxer like this does not come around every decade, I expect it will be a long time before we witness a fighting machine as finely honed and skilled as our current champion.
What a joke. Fury's discipline and ring IQ is through the roof. He showboats and fools around, but because he can and when he's got caught slippin he still takes control and wins the fight. Fury is always in control. I can't wait til fight night. I really can't.

I mostly root for the underdog and frankly I'm tired of this era in the heavyweight division, Fury winning will do good for boxing. I also don't like Wlad, he's a cheater and an utterly boring character unlike Fury.

As much as I want Fury to win, he will probably not. Wlad's jab is too good, his defense is too good, his power is so much more scary than little Cunningham's

Have you followed Klitschko's career intently, I am a curious ? You talk as though you are a long term supporter of Fury, and have watched a lot of them both, I take it you've followed Fury at least the last 4-5 years right ? Do you feel Fury has progressed with every fight ?

As a keen heavyweight fan, I think I've only missed one of Fury's fights since the Chisora one fight, Firtha it was. Klitschko I haven't missed a fight live for an even longer period of time. I paid extra attention to the Johnson fight and thought he was wide open, but then he could afford to be against an opponent of that calibre, the Chisora rematch was again the same, taking even less risks than the Johnson fight, having watched the Hammer fight I honestly do not think he has advanced all that significantly to the point he can stay out of trouble for 12 rounds against Wlad. Hammer and Chisora brought so little it's absolutely meaningless to even use those fights as a gauging stick to see how far he has come IMO.

Fury fans appear to talk about comfort zones saying Fury is never really out of his, I do not buy into that for one moment, he has looked out of his comfort zone numerous times and I'm certain against a higher quality of opposition for instance lets say Haye and Wilder he simply would not be able to utilise what makes him as unique as he has appeared to date, his size, home officiating, generally a lot of fabourable overlooking from these British refs.

What do you genuinely believe happens if Wlad hurts him, grazes him even lol you think he will simply overcome this and carry on, Fury has looked desperate at times against far lesser opposition, again I don't buy into this myth you have to nail Fury to the canvass to get keep him down, officiating outside of the UK is not going to favour him as it did not at times against Cunningham, although ultimately he got the biggest gift of all outside of the UK when that fight was deemed a KO instead of what was clearly should of been a NC or DQ decision.

Before you go on about Wlad's excessive clinching in the Povetkin fights etc, lets take into account Wlad when facing taller opposition, opposition by his own admission he prefers to face as he does not need to go looking for them, generally hasn't the need to initiate clinch due to the similarities in size and lack of concern with his opponent coming in low under the guard, bull rushing him for example.

I suppose you believe Fury is going to outwork Klitschko on the inside himself instead of staying out of range of the big right hand ? The impression I took from Fury's last fights is he has absolutely to stick to the strictest if strict game plans staying out of range and keeping the fight an outside fight against the light punchers such as Chisora and Hammer, I have absolutely no faith in his inside game against the champ, and judging by the way he is instructed to fight his camp do not either.

Do you actually believe that? Klitschko showed his age vs Jennings??

Why is it hard for people to consider Jennings had quite the guard and was there to survive not win.

Klitchko. Wlad has always been highly likable and pure class. Fury's not that great of a fighter and talks too much for my taste.

Plus I have no faith in Fury's ability to hold onto the belt for any period of time. It will become a huge joke.

It's a 60/40 fight in favour of Fury according to Fury fans in the master thread.
