Hamer was never a "talented" fighter. He was borderline average in the skillz depart but lacked greatly in the mental aspect.

I remember when he went pro he had a little bit of hype behind him because of his name, and the fact he had a college degree and fought out of NYC.

He showed up to my gym because he wanted to work with a trainer there. So the trainer worked with him for a day to see what he had.

Tor basically wanted him to work for peanuts, until he made it big.

The trainer told him he wasn't **** and he didn't want to waste his time with him, haha.
