What evidence? You don't have access to evidence, only what your senses perceive. Your eyes see people wearing the same kind of clothes, doing the same things, having the same friends, you make an assumption (educated guess) that they have something in common.

From the other side of the equation, the people that are hanging together, dressing alike, whatever....likely have a common bond that causes them to stick together. It's human nature to find individuals who have something in common and associate with them for assimilation and security...it's called human nature.

Anyways, your neighbor could be a serial killer and you wouldn't know it because they hide that away from your senses because they don't want or need you to know about it. They don't need to let others know about that side of themselves because they can get the same feeling by killing random people that others get by hanging out with people they have stuff in common with.
