    Kovalev-Pascal comes to mind, but there were several other equally exciting fights.

            Floyd absolutely not. The fight Was the biggest bust (fight wise) ever and the winner doesn't deserve getting fighter of the year up to this point.
            Quantity does not equal quality. Who'd he beat, Sosa and Leon? Who the hell are these guys? Plus he stays ducking the Estrada rematch.

                        Cotto could be with a win over Canelo, GGG if he fights and knockout Lemule, Lucas with a win over Postol, and Kovalev if he beats another top opponent not named Pascal.

                                Matthysse- I think at this point Matthysse has a good shot. If he beats Postol in high fashion, that's two great fights delivered and a good championship win.

                                Kovalev - Would need to fight one more time against a top fighter because the Mohamedi fight is weak but a mandatory.

                                Mayweather - fights GGG, Pac II (lol), Cotto for Lineal MW, or unify with Kell Brook makes him a top candidate.

                                Fury - If he knocked out Klitschko within 9 rounds, pretty impressive win there, right?
