Nobody is ducking anybody. GGG isn't ducking Ward and Ward isn't ducking GGG. Two champions of different weights can't agree on a weight or terms. It happens sometimes and it's nobody's fault. People should quit trying to label either of these excellent fighters a ducker. They both have shown a willingness to fight the best fighters in their OWN weight class.

not true. ward turned down bute, stevenson, froch 2, and degale called him out recently and ward hasn't pursued him at all. ggg has tried to fight every top middle of the last 5 years: cotto, martinez, sturm, quillin, lee, pirog, soliman, chavez jr, ndam etc...there's no one at 160 that offered ggg a career high payday and ggg turned it down. ward has done that multiple times.

This is all hype fed by the Internet media once again because they need something to write about and something to drive traffic to sites like this one. There is nothing at all to talk about until the two sides actually decide to start negotiating for a fight. Loeffler was asked a question by Fat Dan and he responded. That led to more questions being asked during a video question period that was then posted on the net. This led to Ward's camp making comments, leading to other comments, and on and on and on...

But no one from either camp is talking to the other camp or to HBO about getting this fight set up. It is all simply Internet fluff as usual. Give it a few days and it will be replaced with the next bit of fluff that comes floating by.

Oh, please. He beat a bunch of euro bums and American no hopers, most of which you don't hear about nowadays. That tournament was full of bums and journeymen.. Dirrell, Abraham, Bika, Green... all in the shadows nowadays, in the outskirts of boxing. And FROCH is the most overrated robot in boxing. Ugliest most noobish style I have seen.

And that tournament was 4-5 years ago, the world continued, you know? It's in the distant past. Everything changes. A guy named Gennady Golovkin took over boxing while Andrea did nothing. This is 2015, Golovkin is the biggest name in boxing right now.

Lets be real here. When that tourny came about, everyone asked "why 168?" because it wasn't a hotbed of talent. After Ward won though, all of those guys suddenly became legendary.
