Apparently Mosley vs Mayorga 2 might be a PPV fight?

I paid 54 up here in Toronto and I think it was pretty similarly in the states.

It's nostalgic man, it would be hard to convince people not to buy something with that type of attachment.

****. I thought this was the undercard to Mares-LSC?

I was at the first fight at the Home Depot center - it was nowhere near a sellout...less than half of the 9k capacity I'd estimate. I like both of them, that's why I was there...but it wasn't even that good of a fight. I have a hard time avoiding nostalgia too but damn! I'd like to watch this fight, but have it be somewhat more lowkey as far as it's placement on a card (of course Mayorga isn't going to be lowkey). The fight can help a card but it also needs help itself - i though it made a lot of sense for Staples Center alongside LSC v Mares. If their first fight had a large gate I'd understand but nah **** PPV

I might pay 50 dollars to hear mayorga talk **** but I will not pay 50 dollars for that fight.

It's PPV because there's no platform to show it on, not because it's such a great fight. If they had a a broadcasting deal in place with Showtime or HBO it would have been on regular TV.

exactly. they did this with roy vs omar shieka, IIRC.

vargas / mayorga, too. don king isn't stranger to putting on fights that are so bad that the networks won't touch them

shane mosley can hardly talk. he might get killed in the ring one day. i shouldn't be joking about this.
