First off GGG won't fight Floyd. GGG is on HBO so that is out the window.

Second, if he is waiting for the Cotto-Canelo winner and Cotto wins, then forget about it. Cotto is not fighting GGG.

Third, Andre Ward is leaning more towards fighting Kovalev next year than fighting GGG this year.

With those things placed in front of us, the likely move is that Golovkin fights Lemieux, and Ward fights Pascal (or someone else in the top 5 at LHW) before Kovalev.

can you imagine this fight ending in a a headbutt?

golovkin comes forward. ward can fight as a southpaw [might do it to take golovkin's jab and counter / short left hook away] and comes in with his head. this fight could end in a freaking clash of heads.

can you freaking imagine HBO dumping 2-3+ million for each guy's purse, and the fight ending in a headbutt? they literally couldn't pay for the rematch until the following year, and wouldn't be smart to line up to shoot themselves in the foot again.
