Comments Thread For: Crolla Pines For Perez Rematch, Return To Manchester

Manchester’s Anthony Crolla hopes that the WBA will call for a rematch between him and Darleys Perez following last Saturday’s majority draw.

Crolla (29-4-3, 11 early) challenged Perez (32-1-1, 20 KOs) for the WBA lightweight title at the Manchester Arena. Many in attendance thought he was a clear winner, especially after the Colombian titlist had two points deducted for low blows in rounds 11 and 12. [Click Here To Read More]

    Watched the fight last night

It was a close fight but I had crolla at least a couple of rounds up

That's not even taking the point deductions into account

Must be gutted to know he fought out of his skin and still got shafted

Was really disappointed in Perez's performance, had him to win by KO. Thought Crolla outworked him.

I had him down to win by ko aswell, and just to win plus the draw thankfully. I had eggington to win, price by points cause the odds were good and kiko but only a small bet. I broke even. Carson jones to beat rose looks promising. Last time he was a long shot though now he's about 2/1 I think that will shorten though and he might start evenish so probably best to bet on him now.

Personally I don't think he deserved a world title shot. Crolla had 2 fights against Derry Mathews and won none. At least beat Derry before being given a shot. In my opinion if you hold a world title that says your the best in the world right. How can you be the best in the world if you ain't even the best in Britain

You're **** at predicting fights. No wonder you didn't want a bet on Mitchell-Linares. You're probably damn near broke now.

I thought Crolla wasn't going to show up?

he biched and whined constantly, he's not a man. He needed those breaks cause he was blowing out his back side. Try watching that fight back its like watching paint dry.

you said linares was this elite guy, end of the day he barely beat mitchell, he probably wouldnt have cause according to the judges the others had it even and one had mitchell by 2 so linares needed the last three rounds cause ijl had him way clear.
