I can't really fault canelo in that fight, Lara made it virtually impossible to do anything. I've watched for close to 20 years and was shocked at laras performance, it was a disgrace.

I was convinced that Lara was going to bring his A++++ game for all the smack he was talking. So I threw money down on Lara at the MGM when I went to see the weigh in. Lara turned out to be nothing but mouth.

with floyd u have a 39 year old who can pick his fights bc he has to sell a ppv each time..and he's done a damn good job of that..he just fought the number 2 p4p fighter in the world..and he has unified 3 titles in his last 4 fights..he's leaving the sport..his name should be rarely mentioned with these guys at this point..now we have prime ggg vs prime lara...

and tbh i have no interest in watching a small skilled ww going up to face a big skilled jr middelweight..regardless of the name..when u go up in weight u want to have at least a speed or strength advan..ex..floydcanlo..srl vs hagler..hearns vs hagler....most of the time the speed skill fighters have more guts to go face bigger fighter that are power type fighters...now most power guys wont go up to face a skilled guy without some BS like ggg vs ward at a "CW"

floyd has earned his keep..GGG can easily be considered hype..i figure he destroys lara, but he needs to do it..it's not about wat i figure..

Lara shouldnt be allowed to fight on tv unless they shackle his legs. Its one thing to use footwork and movement, and there's another thing to literally run around the ring to avoid engaging .
