Brandon Rios will fight either Jessie Vargas or Provodnikov this fall, no Kell Brook.

Rios vs Prov please. I think Vargas is kinda fun to watch & would be vs Rios too, but I'd rather see two KO-capable guys go at it then Vargas' hummingbird attack.

I was looking forward to a Brook fight. That said, a fight vs Ruslan would be great fun. Hopefully that fight gets made.

Lets just say there was the rematch clause to fight in the UK again. What if Rios was robbed? Would it be fair for him to have to fight in the UK again after just being robbed there? Come on man...

I dont think Rios would win the fight anyway but let's be real here before trying to put the blame solely on Rios.

That's matchroom for you, if you're not with them you're the bad guy i.e Frampton, Khan, Groves

A Rios-Provodnikov fight would be huge!!!! Not in the aspect of plublicity but in the aspect of a true brawl/war. Both are come forward, in the pocket fighters. I don't see Rios or Provodnikov to decide to box, both are Warriors willing to lay their lives on the line for a great fight/legacy.

Not at all interested in Vargas would turn into a boxing match which would be difficult to sell since neither has a big name, at least Rios had a name but has faded. I'm not yet sure how Vargas would react to punishment Rios can dish out.

If it's Provodnikov-Rios, I personally think it could go either way but I would go with Provodnikov just based off the fact I have never seen him seriously hurt even against Lucas who is much more dangerous than Rios.

rios-provodnikov good lord. it should be mandatory to have a WWE entrance style ramp where an ambulance truck is waiting next to the ring. rock 'em sock 'em robots.

If Rios was to win there was no need to rematch the UK. Why? Cause then it would be Rios' belt and he would have plenty of people behind him in LA. You fight in the champions' backyard right? So if Rios was to win that'd make him the champion right?

I'm a fan of Brook and dislike Rios a whole lot but dont go around spreading bull**** that only fits your agenda.
You fight where the money is.

Rios was complaining about the purse but he wants to lose money by doing a rematch in the US? Kinda dumb, no?

It's a voluntary shot, he's being thrown a bone here. Yet he's going to cry about the location of a rematch? It's two 7 figure paydays and two world title fights.

Instead he's going to fight Jessie Vargas...lol ok then.

good two possible match ups. Rios destroys Vargas, Provodnikov beats Rios (I think).

The plain bias here is ridiculous. Rios has been making $900,000+ in his last few fights, the money is in the US and the UK. Champion should dictate where they want the fight unless they lose the purse bid.

Can you count? That's six figures. He's being offered two seven figure purses to fight in the UK if he wins.
