David Lemieux..will he become overrated if he fights GGG?

He is a solid fighter but realistically has not done much and is a step down from Murray and Geale.

He has as much chance of beating GGG as you do.

Lemieux is a good fighter, but at least he has a belt, a thing that neither Murray or Geale had.

So is a unification fight, we like it or not.

At least Lemieux has a puncher's chance, Monroe didn't even have that.

overrated? I doubt it. He's nothing special but he brings a good dynamic with his power to the table. Fight should be a fun one

Lemeuiex is already overrated. He can punch, doubt he can take one. GGG folds him.

If anything the fight will tell us more about GGGs relatively untested chin. See how he reacts when hit by a legit puncher.

I don't mind the fight because he has a title and GGG needs all the belts he can get right now. Although holding all of the belts hasn't done much for Kovalev as of yet. But we'll see.

I think most are aware that we want this fight to see GGG get clocked hard a few times to see how he deals with the power/aggression not the boxing IQ of Lemieux.

Hes overrated now but in the MW wasteland that GGG chooses to stay in there is nothing and he is at least a step up

If LeMule-GGG is made,I think we have to start asking; Is Golovkin ducking Spike O'Sullivan?

In b4 undue comparisons to cab drivers/janitors/dish washers... If he is less than Murray and Geale in the eyes of y'all, and y'all shat on them, then Lemieux about to get ragged on endlessly.

I think Lemieux would be a solid win for GGG, I'd say surely an improvement over Geale and about on par with Murray. He is coming off of a win of N'Dam which is a good strong win for him, and is better than any wins on Murray's resume going into his fight with GGG. Murray beat a few other contenders but I also gave him credit because he gave strong opponents in Sturm and Martinez good fights.

Lemieux isn't an A-level fighter sure, but he packs a punch so it'd be a good ass fight. Hopefully 2016 will see him circle around and smack up Cotto/Canelo for a belt and Andy Lee to unify all the MW belts.

EDIT: Eh I'm feeling flip floppy on this. I'd say Lemieux is in the same general ball park in terms of quality of victory, as both Geale and Murray. Not particularly experienced but still has done well for himself, but definitely not like a big step up by any means.
