The last Maidana was reckless and balls to the wall but this Maidana is more calculated, versatile and a better box...but if he tries to outbox Khan then he'll lose a wider decision than last time.

So he didn't train for both Mayweather fights?

Khan beat Maidana better than Floyd did - Maidana hasn't done enough yet to deserve a Khan rematch. If he'd beat Floyd that would have opened the door for the Khan rematch but right now Maidana has 2 straight losses. He needs to prove himself worthy of fighting Khan again.

despite landing good punches against floyd, mayweather was never on the verge of being KO'd like khan was vs chino.

chino is out of shape, so maybe khan sees this as an advantage and takes the fight, who knows.

                  Great fight

                  Both men have changed alot

People will write off Khan as usual. Naive.

Both men come in great form it will be a fantastic fight.

If Maidana comes off form it will be a Khan walk
If Khan comes off form it will be hell for him

Its all about how motivated Maidana would be for this type of fight.

A fit, motivated Maidana would stop Khan brutally.

A fat, disinterested Maidana would get schooled.

I'd respect Khan for taking this fight, but i actually doubt he will.

Khan only fights feather fisted guys at 147.

He probably has a re-match with Paulie in mind.

This right here. The Maidana that was motivated by fighting Broner and Mayweather, has a good chance of KO'ing Khan.

However an out of shape, and sluggish Maidana will get schooled.

I think Maidana needs a tune up fight, especially after 2 straight losses and a long lay off that has really put him out of shape.

I thought a fight against Berto would be a nice tune up but it looks like Floyd snatched him up. Maybe against a Malignaggi type of guy.
