Worse Cherrypicker - Danny Garcia vs Rod Salka or Floyd Mayweather vs Andre Berto?

I'd say it's roughly about the same level of cherrypicking.

Berto has been beaten by, not one, but TWO of Floyd's former opponents - Ortiz and Guerrero! He's also been beaten by Karass - a man Maidana KOd in 8 rounds.. lol

Who's the worse cherrypicker - Garcia when he cherrypicked Rod Salka, or Mayweather cherrypicking Berto?

Floyd was always going to duck Khan again so that's not surprising in the slightest but he could have chosen a far better opponent than Berto, there was Brook, Thurman, Porter, Alexander, Pac II, Maidana III etc..

So Pac charging money to fight an undefeated fighter who in his last two bouts beat a decent contender and then won a world title is worse than Garcia/Salka and Mayweather/Berto? First off, lol no. Second off, charging money doesn't have a berring on whether it's a cherrypicked fight (but it does have a berring on whether it's a good value, that is a separate discussion). Third off, I would rather pay to see Mayweather fight a top 10 WW than fight Berto for free.

          Salka by far..

At least Berto is known, has been on big fights, and held titles before..

Salka < Berto, but Mayweather >>> Garcia. Context matters. We wouldn't call someone who is 10-0 a cherry picker if they fought Berto for instance, so how good the fighter who is making the pick is is a factor to consider as well.

EDIT: I realize in the case of most 10-0 fighters, Berto would be the favorite. But you get the idea I hope.

It isn't cherry-picking when it comes to Berto. It's a mockery.

Cherry picking is when he fights someone like Guerrero and Ortiz.

Garcia's cherrypick was horrible but Floyd is worse by far because he self proclaims to be the best ever but all he's shown his entire career is that he's the best ever cherry picker.

Berto WBA #1, Salka lower division #77. Floyd-Berto is a bad fight because Mayweather is that good rather than Berto is that bad.

Look at it relatively and comparitively.

Floyd is allegedly P4P #1 remember, there's no excuse for the p4p #1 boxer in the world to choose a fighter who's already been beaten by two of his former opponents and who's not widely rated as even a top 10 fighter in the world - not even top 10 in the USA..
