Are you brain dead? Why would Ward take 35% in a fight with a guy who makes less money then he does? How in the hell does than even begin to make any sense?
His taking 35% doesn't mean he's going to go home with less than what he's received before. It means he's taking less money from variables that he doesn't control as much as Golovkin.
If the pool of money is based on PPV buys and ticket sold, why should Ward get more of that when he doesn't attract more viewers than GGG?
If Bum-love-kin is entitled to more than 50% then please tell me why does he make LESS money than Ward?

The split is going to be based on PPV buys and tickets sold. Well who sells more tickets and gets more viewers to tune in? It's a pretty simple formula.

All I said was that based on the past few years, GGG has attracted more viewers and sold more tickets, so clearly he should get a larger % of the pot, whether it's 55% or 60% or whatever.
I don't care how much Ward attracted 2 years ago. That was 2 years ago. Maybe he generated viewers 2 years ago but he's done nothing to show he can generate viewers not. Is he a great fighter? Of course. Doesn't mean he can generate money to the same degree as Golovkin.

Funny, he didn't feel the same way in the buildup to Smith, he couldn't stop with ducking accusations and then got a reaction from team GGG. Also funny he ended up his self imposed vow of silence in regards to GGG without denying he said no to HBO when they came calling.

Anyway, you can ask HBO, two years ago they showed us a list of possibles, and Ward was on it; we said yes to all of them.Last edited by DoktorSleepless; 07-20-2015, 05:49 PM.
