Does the HBO Now App allow LIVE streaming?

If anyone has tried the Showtime Anytime app, you know that you can stream Live East Coast and West Coast Showtime 1 channel. This allows us to watching boxing LIVE.

I haven't tried out the new HBO Now app, although I've used the HBO GO app plenty of times when my mother had her subscription to them. That app did not allow any LIVE streaming...

I ask because if I can get HBO LIVE streaming via an app, I might look into it. I just don't want the app if it's just like HBO GO and only allows you to view shows already recorded or old fights...

Currently, neither HBO Go nor HBO Live has live streaming of the HBO feeds.

I like that about the Showtime app, I watched ShoBOX last Friday at work. I really don't need the app, but since I'm still paying for cable, I might as well use it.

The NBC app lets you stream live also, but I haven't used it yet, I probably will this weekend.

HBO needs to add that to HBO go, that would be great.

Wait so I thought the HBO GO app was on demand stuff which is available from your provider and the HBO NOW app is a stand-alone service which allowed you to live stream.
