Are any of your topics not part of an agenda?

It is an easy pick. I will likely end up watching both because of tivo, but I'm excited to see Kovalev fight and could care less about the NBC card.

Exactly! This is why they invented those wonderful devices, so we can catch it all.

The world class fighter or the journeymen?

                Pretty simple decision here....

By the way... unless it is a PPV, ALL boxing on TV is free, no matter whether it is a regular or premium station. You are not paying for the programming you are watching, you are paying for the channel which includes ALL the programming shown on it.

Boxing, like every other program on a given network, is part of the package which the network shows, for a price. This is whether it is a premium channel, or a local channel, which are purchased separately from a basic cable package. Therefore, boxing is NOT free in either scenario. The only way that any programming is legitimatley free, is if one is pulling it from the air via a tv with an internal tuner and/or an external antenna, both of which have to be purchased. In short, one would be hard pressed to find anything for free these days, my friend.

                    Nbcsn

Cancelled HBO at about the time of the initial mass Golden Boy exodus from the channel; if HBO was to then put on a fight that I was interested in, I simply went to my usual sports bar, paid whatever cover there occasionally was, and covered the rest of my tab with drinks/beer (Hopkins-Kovalev, Cotto-Martinez, Ward-Rodriguez, and that's about it, in terms of first-run fights that I made the effort to see live).

Has NBCSN in my cable package, Shumenov-Flores looks like a 50/50 fight, and I'm interested in seeing Jordan Shimmel fight.

HBO is basically airing a wash-out doubleheader; no need to waste the time with that nonsense. (If one of the fights ends up being interesting, I'll catch it on a stream later)

NBC has the closer to 50/50 fight but casuals love KO's and they will get that with the Kov mismatch.

And here i thought NSB hated mismatches but i guess not.

I have 3 TV's set-up so im watching both and mayeb some baseball
