only "if" we didnt have to say "if" with this guy so much..broner as well..haymon should place him in easy fights and let his star power still be there with the latin crowd..stub hub, texas, arizona...places like that he should sell out or get a return easy..maybe haymon could put him in mexico..if chavez becomes a cherry picker and is matched easy nobody could say anything..we know he is not committed to boxing and is not a top level fighter so why not cash in on popularity..who wouldnt?

I doubt Garcia is hurting for money. Remember he trained Maidana for 2 Floydie fights. Just those alone are some serious change, and his gym is always full of prospects, champs and ex-champs.

Last night all that was shown is how effective a 20-30 lb weight advantage is against a smaller C class fighter, and how chavez is still a one dimentional plodding cow,who gases out after one combination, and is verry skilled in the art of blocking punches with his face.
Talk about exaggeration. You'd bolster your case if you'd leave out the b.s. next time. I'm not a Jr fan, but I saw a good jab for a couple rounds, and no he doesn't gas out after one combination. I didn't even notice him gasping during the post-fight interview. He has alotta work to go, but I'm sure if anyone can improve him Garcia can. Garcia gave Maidana a jab. Remember that.

Some truth here. Sorta like a sideshow at the carnival, albeit a big money making one. And I doubt many would pass up that kinda moolah if given a choice.

Exactly what I was thinking. Dude, just wants to keep getting that check. 4 fights to improve on what? How long has he been fighting? Geez! Robert Garcia is a mediocre trainer. He lets his fighter come in heavy to have a size advantage.

once he fights a legit sized 175, Stoolio gets left on his stool again. All he has is size over these smaller guys.

Naw, that's not it, he fights for weed and big mac money.

Chavez Jr should be banned from fighting at 168lbs.

                    respect

chavez JR gets paid very well. he's a big star in mexico, and has enough of a following here that he gets on network TV in main events. he draws twice from the well.

he makes low millions in purses every time he fights. he makes both american and MExican Tv money.

                      this.

junior was a mirage. he fought at 160 by taking drugs and drying out. just ook at him vs that guy he fought on satruday. he was insurmountably larger. he looked like he was 190-200 lbs. that's why they have weight classes.
