Comments Thread For: Quigg To Frampton: Who's in The Driving Seat Now?

Scott Quigg believes his demolition of Kiko Martinez puts him "in the driving seat" for a possible world title unification fight with Carl Frampton.

Quigg stopped Martinez within two rounds on Saturday, while Frampton was forced to recover from two early knock downs to overcome Alejandro Gonzalez Jr on points.

"He [Frampton] struggled a bit," Quigg told Sky Sports News. "I've just gone and beaten the best fighter he's fought. Martinez went 12 rounds with Frampton; he lasted two rounds with me.

Frampton is in the driver seat. Quigg has a bogus "regular" WBA title. Man up and challenge Rigo for the real one!

Quigg doesn't even hold a proper World title and they're just pricing themselves out with non-sense offers. Quigg didn't even main event the last Saturday show in Manchester (Crolla-Perez) in fact when was the last time he was a main event if somebody can point that out? Yet he thinks he deserves so much.

At the end Frampton is Irish, which in itself is a selling point especially if you're good and of course he is damn good. From what I've heard Quigg sells tickets out of his family's fish and chips spot LOL.

Being a WBA regular champion isn't like being a real world champion. Surely Quigg knows that.

To be fair, Kiko was the best, most accomlished fighter hes faced and he beat him in a more impressive fashion than Frampton did..of course he feels pumped. Framptons win over kiko is still rated higher though, and everyone who thinks otherwise is trying to pull a khanjob.

Quigg doesn't understand that Frampton beat him first for some reason.

Quigg beat him in more impressive fashion, but any of Frampton's wins over Martinez is rated higher?
