    SBW is Bouncing

Now, we just need the guys to fight each other.

Rigo is atop by default and because no once can prove wrong his claim (he holds the highest rated win of any recent 122 pounder).

But Frampton continues to impress and looks a threat, we may get Quigg v Donaire which would be a huge fight and then there's Mares and LSC who may fight at the limit again.

If we could get fights where Frampton, Quigg, Donaire and Rigo all wind up fighting each other ,we could have top level fights in the division for years and one true champion.

Lots of potential for sure. Hope we get to see a lot of these top guys actually fight each other.

Frampton is moving up, from the looks of it. I seriously doubt Leo would drop back down to 122 after moving up. If anything I think Mares would drop back down if he happens to lose in the near future. Donaire is on his way out and Rigondeaux is quite aged and highly inactive. If anything 126 is the stacked division with plenty of good names and big fights. Quigg is looking like a viable champion after his Kiko victory but he will need to further establish himself by getting past an older Donaire, whom has seen better days himself. 122 is like a really good old fighter whom was once great, it has its fundamentals, but the talent is moving up or fading.

Frampton stays if he gets a big money fight, which he may. Also, I think he is too small for FW and once he loses up there, he will move back down. Count on that.

Donaire is still one of the best fighters on the planet, he lost to Rigo and to a very big and hard hitting fighter in Walters. He just reached his size limit. Pit him against someone who isn't as smooth as Rigo or have a physical advantage to the extent of Walters and Donaire wins and possibly gets a stoppage.

I do hope Mares moves back down, I feel he is also too small at FW.

That's what I'm hoping, Ih ope it's not a situation like some other divisions.

Sony Bill Williams is far too big for these guys.

The top four as of a year or so ago was Rigo, Frampton, LSC and Quigg. So far none of them have fought each other other.

Real good fighters, good matchups, slow division.

Hopefully Haymon having Frampton, LSC and maybe Rigo soon will step things up a bit

Which big money fight would that be? Frampton vs Quigg seems like the only viable "big money" fight for him at the moment, all the rest of the big names are at 126.

Donaire was world class but has been on a downward spiral since his loss to Rigo. He had trouble against Vetyeka, was getting outboxed by a washed up Raging bull on their unecessary rematch, and bludgeoned by Walters. Since his loss to Walters he has had two fights against lesser opponents, nothing to warrant him a slot on top of the food chain at 122 at the moment.

Idk, the 122 division is mostly filled with older fighters and promising prospects, 126 is the division to be in right now at those weights.
