Anthony Crolla was frustrated by the judges as his WBA world lightweight title fight against Darleys Perez was ruled a draw.

Stablemate Scott Quigg retained his WBO world super bantamweight title with a blistering second-round stoppage of Spain's Kiko Martinez.

Crolla appeared to have clinched a belt of his own in a close fight which saw Perez twice docked points for frequent low blows - but the judges were split, with one ruling for each fighter and the third calling it a draw.

Not a complete robbery, but them point deductions should have been enough to seal it.

Some close rounds in there. Crolla was busy and accurate with the jab all fight, but Perez produced some eye-catching work off the ropes and countering.

Perez looked a relieved man when the scores came through.

Crolla can definitely come again and should take heart from his performance.
