Salka is undoubtedly a cherry-pick. Stepping up to WW and fighting a faded and irrelevant "name" will be viewed as cherry-picking too. I'm not saying he has to face the toughest guy @WW, but he should be facing a bigger threat than Malignaggi. At least when Broner moved up, he faced Paulie when he was still a titlist. Beating Malignaggi does nothing for Garcia's reputation right now. Paulie is just too soft for a debut.Last edited by kiaba360; 07-19-2015, 03:13 PM.Comment

Don King may not actually be a bad thing because he can fight Golden Boy, Top Rank and Haymon fighters. If he was with Haymon he wouldn't get his mandatory shot at Matthysse/Postol.Comment

I wouldn't say he's a cherry-picker yet, but Garcia has started to carefully maneuver his way through dangerous waters. Imam will probably do the same when he gets high enough on the ladder. I keep hearing that Paulie's style will present problems, but that doesn't mean he has any serious chance of winning. Paulie is there to lose in emphatic fashion, to be another victim on Garcia's highlight reel, that's it.Last edited by kiaba360; 07-19-2015, 03:52 PM.Comment
