I thought the fight was a draw or villanueva winning by a round. Scorecards were horrible.

Arroyo started well, but soon he allowed Villanueva to come into his own with a high workrate. The action was had twists and turns with each fighter

Not so sure about "edged". Apparently, the judges saw a one-sided schooling where Arroyo did more holding than punching and was substantially outlanded by the guy that he supposedly schooled.

Difficult fight to watch but not to score. Arthur was more active and actually tried to mount an offense, meanwhile Arroyo was just... There. It was a depressing decision, even Arroyo's corner kept telling him to let his hands go between rounds, I'm sure they knew he was way too behind to win on the cards. However, Texas. That is all.
