Yea that was some garbage reffing and scoring from the judges. I felt the ref was too bias, I heard from the commentators he was Puerto Rican too. Point shouldn't have been deducted, and Arroyo also should have been warned and the ref shouldn't have allowed the doc to stop the fight (yet). I was surprised Mexicans were rooting for the Filipino though due to their strong hatred of Puerto Ricans.

The only reason Villanueva lost is because he does not have tools to beat a guy like Arroyo nor ha has good boxing skills to run away with the title. Enough said.

Horrible Ref and Judging

Villanueva got robbed and gang ****d by the three judges and the referee, He was busier, landed far more punches, and the point deduction was purely biased and uncalled for by Arroyo's fellow Puerto Rico Referee. It was Arroyo who should have deducted at least two points for his excessive holding and for constantly going in with his head as a weapon. Put them in a different venue with higher quality judges and an unbiased ref that actually does his job and you will get a totally different outcome.

The scorecards for this fight were disgraceful and disgusting. Villanueva outlanded Arroyo & I had the fight 6 rounds to 4 for Villanueva. The point deduction for Villanueva was bull**** too, as Arroyo would come in with his head too, so in my opinion no point should have been deducted at all. For this fight I would have preferred a referee from a neutral country also.
