It's not about shape at this point. Arreola has been in worse shape and looked better than he has in his last two fights. It's about no longer being able to sustain his style at this point. Arreola's done as a world class fighter.

It doesn't matter if he can get into shape. Years of abuse have taken their toll. He's slower, sloppier, weaker, more fragile (both mentally and physically) and lacks the fire that at least made him somewhat entertaining in years gone by. Losing twenty or thirty pounds isn't going to change that.

Wilder will demolish this guy like he should have demolished Molina. And I don't rate Wilder that highly at all.
